Luisa is a senior solicitor at Norling Law and sees her role as a guide to those in their decision making process in litigation and to help them achieve the solution they seek.
Before joining Norling Law, Luisa practised in a wide variety of legal fields, including private client, dispute resolution and commercial litigation, administrative and public law.
Luisa has a particular interest in commercial litigation and is a member of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand. Applying her organic problem-solving approach, Luisa enables her clients to resolve disputes promptly and cost effectively.
The challenges and areas of law that Luisa has dealt with are:
- General contract law, contract interpretation and consumer law;
- Commercial and residential tenancy law and procedure;
- Employment law and procedure;
Luisa is a native English speaker; Luisa has also received education in Mandarin, and Malay, and enjoys meeting diverse people from around the world to make connections and immerse herself in other cultures. Luisa is a member of the New Zealand Animal Law Association and provides assistance on relevant legislation and regulations. Luisa is also a member of the Superdiversity Institute and New Zealand Asian Leaders – two associations aimed at recognising, empowering, and inspiring leaders throughout Australasia.
