Alice graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree and was admitted to bar in 2017.
Prior to joining Norling Law, Alice worked at an inner-city mid-tier law firm where she specialised in Commercial and Civil Litigation.
In that role Alice acquired a variety of experience in commercial and civil matters including:
- Construction disputes;
- Contractual disputes; and
- Tenancy disputes.
Alice frequently represented and provided advice to liquidators, company directors, creditors and trustees.
Alice has regularly appeared before the Tenancy Tribunal, District Court and High Court of New Zealand. She has also participated in mediations and acted as lead counsel in judicial settlement conferences.
Alice assisted her previous mentor in updating Heath & Whale on Insolvency (chapters on bankruptcy and liquidation), the leading insolvency text and is often referred to by Judges and Counsel in New Zealand.
Alice is originally from Iran and is fluent in Farsi and Azeri.
